Well, I have this really pretty good cookbook here. I just bought it at a garage sale. Wow, I really really love garage sales. And it was only like, 50 cents too, so, like, that is a great deal. Right?
It is a pretty old edition of Homemakers of America from the year 1944, it says on the inside.
Well, if any of you have this here cookbook, could you help me out with this recipe?
Well, I wanted to make this noodle casserole for dinner tonight. I have everything together. But the recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of powdered ustard.
I don’t have any and I am not sure what a good substitute would be?

Hm, weird that it would want you to use such an obscure product as powdered custard. I’ve never seen such a thing, it’s always been like pudding anytime I’ve had it. OK, here’s what you do. Pop open a vanilla SnackPack and smear it on a glass plate. Put it in the microwave on high for ten minutes. It’s guaranteed to become powder after that much radiation. Problem solved and disaster averted! You’re welcome…
