Why not strip Baptist Church Westboro Baptist Church's right to be called Baptists?
Is the Baptist church believe in harassing soldiers killed in a funeral? Why the government to defend these vile people while asking citizens to fight and die for your country?
Hi, it's interesting to talk about it. We had a conversation in the Church (Baptist!) About that. Baptists believe that each church should be completely independent. This is our understanding of how the Bible says the Church must be executed, and that protects and encourages individual freedom and freedom of belief. We form unions to work with Baptist other Baptist Churches of common goals (welfare, disaster relief, mission etc.). These join to form the Baptist World Alliance, which brings together the Baptists worldwide. But the Alliance and the unions have no authority over a particular Church. The result is that when a hate group (Westboro) kidnaps the Baptist name, no nothing we can do to stop them. Not Westboro Baptist Union Affilliates any, in fact, has come under heavy criticism from trade unions worldwide Baptist. In England, the Baptist Union said: "We do not share his hatred of gays and lesbians. We believe that God loves everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, and without standing reservations against their message of hatred towards those communities. Neither the style nor the content of his preaching expresses the historic, orthodox Christian faith. And we ask that members Westboro Baptist Church to refrain from removing any more homophobic hate "Notice it says clearly that Westboro is not following the true Christian faith. claim not agree with Westboro vehmently on homosexuals, and that, contrary to what Westboro, God loves us all. They also call Westboro to stop it! That statement summarizes what you really think about the Westboro Baptists. Yes it hurts us to see our "label" of being abused, we are confident that most people are smart enough to see the difference between Baptists and masquarading hate group as a Baptist Church.
