Need a recipe tried for spicy barbecue sauce and smoked?
DO NOT BOTHER doing an Internet search and copying more … I can not find online at my own !!!!!! I am looking for a homemade barbecue sauce recipe that you tried really AND LOVE. I want something spicy and full of smoke – perhaps with Chipotle or something, but I'm putting into chipotles. I only ask that you send something really been done before. This is my recipe, compiled from several other recipes I found. I picked tastes I liked in the quantities that suit my taste and this is what eventually. Beware Chipotle – can be hot. Start with a small amount and add more after cooking if you need more heat. Chipotle barbecue sauce 1 T vegetable oil 1 small onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, chopped 2 cups tomato sauce 1 / 3 cup brown sugar 1 T Worcestershire 1 T dry mustard 1 T 1.2 T vinegar chipotle paste (see note) 1 t Italian seasoning Sauté onion and garlic in oil for 5-10 minutes or until tender. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for another 15 minutes. Use a stick blender to puree the sauce. Makes about 2.5-3 cups of sauce. Chipotle paste – 1 7-ounce mixture of chipotle chiles in adobo sauce with ½ can water until smooth. Freeze any remaining in trays ice cubes for use in the sauce, chili or beef jerky marinade.
