Good Cheesecake Recipes?
Does anyone have some good cheescake recipes that i could try? Thanks!!!
Here’s one that’s been in our family for years:
DINAH SHORE CHEESECAKE
CRUST:
1 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c. finely chopped walnuts
1/2 c. melted butter
FILLING:
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. Philadelphia Cream Cheese
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sour cream
Mix crust ingredients. Remove 3 tablespoons for topping. Press remaining on bottom and up sides of 9″ spring form pan.
Combine eggs, cheese, sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Blend in sour cream.
Pour into crust. Top with reserved crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Chill 4 to 5 hours before serving.
I also make an amazing chocolate capuccino cheesecake with a chocolate crust and whipped cream on top when it’s served, but the recipe’s a bit labor-intensive. Have been making it for years as well. People go nuts over it. I got the recipe originally from the AllRecipes recipe site. Here’s the link for that one. It’s a-mazing!!
