Classic Beef Ghoulash recipes?
I remember when my mom would make a macaroni beef ghoulash with beans, tomatoes and I remember her squeezing some ketchup in it b/c ketchup has vinegar and adds a little sweetness to it.
Is anyone familiar with this type of ghoulash? If so, Please provide the recipe!
Wish I knew what a Walah was.
Goulash
1 pound lean Ground Beef
1 1/2 cups macaroni
1 quart stewed tomatoes
2 teaspoons paprika
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
6 ounces tomato paste (optional)
DIRECTIONS
In large saucepan brown ground chuck, drain.
Add tomatoes, onions, garlic, paprika, chili powder, macaroni and tomato paste, if desired. Add water, a tablespoon at a time, if mixture seems too dry. Simmer until macaroni is tender.
Serves 4
