Muslims why are you so opposed to celibacy?
Staying celibate I believe can cleanse one and really complete ones deen. plus it gives me time to focus on my studies and establishing myself so if I feel good being celibate why does my family want me to marry so bad. I mean my family and other brothers and sisters say they only want whats best for me and I feel that is staying celibate so whats wrong? its better than screwing around right?
You can get married and still study. My husband got married to me and Alhamdulillah is double majoring in 2 Master programs and plans on going for his Ph. D Insha Allah. I got married and am 60% through my 2nd semester of college (studying for my A.S. in Early Childhood Education). Plus as a Muslim getting married is half your deen. And no matter how hard you try to stay chaste you’ll always be surrounded by temptation and may fall into the trap of zina. Marriage prevents you from falling into that trap.
