My Gas Grill Sear not comply. Just not hot enough. ideas?
No matter what I tried, I can not get enough grilled hot to sear a steak. Preheating does not. This is an old Ducane, but the regulator of the evidence well and I have replaced the burners. Is this typical of the trademark (Ducane) because it is wonderful for chicken and grill and to cook food at lower heat. Or is broken and there is something (more) I have to replace? Or is it just the way it is with gas grills and only need to get back to coal?
Charcoal rocks, in particular charcoal hardwood. There is Gas grills heat high enough to sear steaks truth, but still will not have that Good Taste. The only reason for the gas is convenience.
