First impression and First Edition?
A first and a first print edition of the same? I bought Breakfast at Tiffany's and it was stated this is a first edition, but when I asked the seller what he said is a "first impression". Are they the same or that I started?
First edition and first printing is not the same thing. Sometimes, a first edition in another language – English as a first impression. Sometimes are just the same year or the same press run as the first editions. Speaking of the book, Breakfast at Tiffanie of Truman Capote – Probably not, but not necessarily. A First Edition FIRST EDITION often said. Some of the principles did not say anything though. If you want to see what your book is worth – Book Finders try and give as much information as possible. I think this book first came out in paperback (I'm not sure, but most seem to be a hardcover later date)
