When should I cover or not cover food I bake in the oven?
Sometimes the recipes don’t say. I’m talking food baked in Corningware.
It really depends on the dish……like a casserole, some people like the crusty top when it’s not covered……personal preference, as in, say if I were baking chicken (bone in, skin on) I would not cover it, as I want the chicken skin to be crisp, not soggy…….If I’m doing pork chops and potatoes, I cover them, so the chops don’t dry out……and I agree, recipes should say to cover or not……Enjoy!!
