What is the type of foods that a vegan eat? and what nutrients are lost?
Okay, So Im doing a project for school in a life vegan. What I need to know important nutrients, vitamins are lost because no animal products intaking. What foods are good substances to replace lost nutrients? So are some examples Vegan food / meals?
Vegans eat fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, cereals, herbs, spices, and everything that made them. There is one nutrient that vegans need to complete and is B12. Absolutely everything, from protein calcium Iron can be obtained from a balanced vegetarian diet. The flesh is an important source of vitamins, for starters. It provides protein, saturated fat, cholesterol, iron, and some B group vitamins mostly. The protein can be taken almost everything a vegan to eat tofu to spinach. Saturated fats and cholesterol, certainly do not have to be replaced. And iron is available from vegan sources too (dark green vegetables, molasses, dried fruit, and many other sources).
