These films from around the world can see in all DVD players?
There are at least 3 different TV standards worldwide, States in NTSC, PAL and SECAM in Britain in Russia. Then there is the HDTV. Can I play DVDs from any country in the world in my DVD player here in NZ?
Each DVD has a region, usually 1 to 6 (7 and 8, also exist but are not really relevant). Some movies are set for all regions, and will play on any DVD player, but most are not. However, you can get a region-free DVD player, which reproduce any DVD. The region of New Zealand and Australia, South America and the bits in the middle, is 4. So if you have only one regular in the region NZ locked DVD player will still be able to play DVDs from these places. Also, some DVDs use multiple regions. With regard to developments in the region in your DVD player, many let you set the region to zero. If it does then it should work as a region-free DVD player. If your player manual not say how, try looking around the 'net.
