All old-fashioned cooks that there, I need help with a recipe really old.?
A cookbook of old has gone missing and recipes were in the 40s and a hand chocolate cake recipe that was my great grandmother. This cake was not common. I was so little when it was last, but I remember by utilizing the following ingredients: cocoa powder, Hershey's, Sanka coffee, raisins .. course of sugar, flour, eggs, but I can not remember what she used for fat. The icing / meringue was made with condensed milk pet, butter and vanilla I think. The cake was left on the PAN and the meringue is poured over the top. I mean it was like a German chocolate cake without frosting coconut and nuts .. but not quite. Do any of you had anything like this or has a recipe like this? I am a lil nostalgic Comfort Food.
