A vehicle backed into me at a traffic light damage my bumper. Allstate How to handle this?
The man was over – speed and could not stop fast enough at the lights. He ended up in the middle of the intersection and had a backup. He hit me and tried to flee the scene. I followed, finally trapped, I called 911, a police officer came and wrote an incident report that shows the driver fault. I have a collision deductible of $ 1000.00 with Allstate. The driver also has Allstate insurance. I have to pay to get my bumper fixed?
No. If the police report shows that it is at fault, then Allstate will cover for the damages completely. You must pay the deductible only when deemed who is at fault in a collision.
