What are some healthy snacks to keep in the house?
I am very active and always on go. I was just wondering what are some healthy snacks to keep in the house besides prepared fruits and vegetables. I have thought of crackers and Cream Cheese, those cheese squares/string cheese, and some other things but really don’t know what classifies as a snack food. I want something filling and enough in the serving size to keep my hunger down. I do have diabetes and have been trying to cut back on the sweets by exchanging them with healthier snacks. I would also like to loss some weigh. A typical morning snack is some sort of fruit or vegetable and in the afternoon I usually have a banana or apple with half a chocolate bar.
