What is the cold climate of good clothes for kayaking?

I kayak in Florida in December. Cold water I need to know what would be good,, kayak fishing gear. I already spray skirt, but not much water related arts. I have some gear backpack though. Exterior is resistant to water tanks (as my woodchuck) that are made to be as efficient kayak backpack? And what about footwear? All I have are some water shoes for summer and spring. Are there Isolated rain boots? Thanks! I base layer of Patagonia that I use for backpackers is that good? I use wool pants and sweater, and an outer shell groundhog to protect against water. Is this good so far?

I live on the coast of gulf near Pensacola and when it's cold outside by all means do try to stay dry, but dress as if it is, be prepared!
