Mix Doctor
What kind of medication (s) have your doctor prescribe when you have been disorder mixed bi-polar disorder, PTSD, and GAD?

He Lamictal, Seroquel, Xanax. The mixture helps, but geez you are shutting down free me? The more work, more weight gain (I'm guessing muscle weight). Comments? Please do not suggest that antidepressants, which did not work. Been there already. Thanks for your help

Hey, as she said it was the SEROQUEL. Just wanted to say that in 2005 I was taking 900 mg of Seroquel and my doctor told that I was obese at 230 and had to stop 50. His advice was no refined sugars, no refined flour, and low levels of saturated fat. He also said that eating oatmeal for breakfast Every Day, not the instant kind. What I did was found some seasonings that had little SPLENDA like, cinnamon, chipotle, etc, and I ate chicken breast grilled and boiled eggs whites protein, 9 servings fruit and vegetables, a couple of slices of wholemeal bread and oats. I would change up the spices and fruits and vegetables to eat chicken every day not to age. Same with oatmeal. I added different fruits to him and many of SPLENDA used to make sweets. It also works to keep a food diary and tracking your calories. You can eat 70 calories a piece of chocolate Tho, according to the daily food pyramid from the government. In any case, I lost 70 pounds in the course of 18 months and I was on seroquel all the time, along with Ativan, Lamictal and Wellbutrin. I hope this helps because I'm sure you can do to do so.
