Any one have recipes that are a hundred yrs. old or older? Willing to share them?
I collect really old recipes – 100+ years. Any food or culture must be in english.

As with lots of things that are collectible – they have value -I also use the ones I find appealing.
I thought someone here might have a recipe that was preserved and passed down through the family. Like great-great grand mother wrote a letter that contained a recipe(s) or wrote in a (dated journal or diary). Not looking for cookbooks.
I have many old Traditional Scottish Recipies hnded down to me through the generations. I still use many of them today. For example, Scotch Broth, Cullen Skink(smoked haddock, saffron and cream base soup. (gorgeous). Stovies, Skirlie, Crannachan ( raspberries, whisky, cream and toasted oatmeal), Partan Bree,(crab soup, divine). Scotch Pancakes, Breads, Rowies.( Buttery baps similar to croissants.)And, of course, Shortbreads and Dundee cake. Probably an archive of about 500. Eme at lornain17@yahoo.co.uk.
