What is the chemical that makes Black Patina welding my stained glass?
Is there any way to get the same effect without a single product that everyone seems to know about?
I'm not sure, but I think it sulphate of potassium (liver of Sulpher) Sulpher compounds other should work too, but may take longer to produce a good patina. it would be interesting to experiment. If you live near a refinery oil Sulpher dioxide in the air skating welding time.
