What is the effect of plastic, paper, and glass greenhouses in shoots of vegetables?
The plant grows taller in the glass, paper or plastic sheets with more gorws, etc need to know! please! its for my science project!
Containers or in soil: Plants should grow the highest in the paper. The roots can not go through glass or plastic. The paper may degrade faster and make a kind of fertilizer. Also the role will generate heat as it decomposes. The paper can retain water and moisture balance, while the glass and make a plastic barrier. The paper also allow more air to flow around the seedling.
