How much does propane gas cost for a home?
I was just wondering how much propane gas costs for a home. Heaters, stove are on the gas, and probably the water heater is too. I’m moving and considering this house, but I’ve never had propane before. I’d like to know about how much it is to fill the tank up and how much monthly it will cost me. Any takers or experienced people know what I’m talking about? I live in Texas.
I wish I knew where the 1.79 per gallon dude is getting his propane. I live in East Texas, not far from Tyler and just last week we payed $2.20 per gallon, and the supplier has a minimum delivery of 100 gallons. During winter we use about 50 to 65 gallon per month, summer drops to around 25 gallons per month. We use it for heating, hot water and cooking. Old house with about 1600 sq. ft.
