Do you cook by recipe or feeling?
Do you have a hard time sharing a recipe, because you cook by feeling? A pinch of this a pinch of that?—and it turns out the same everytime, because you’ve cooked it so many times…… The only time I still use a recipe , is in cakes or when I learn a new recipe.
It gets a little frustrating when I’m asked for a recipe because most often I don’t. I do cook with a pinch of this and a pinch of that because I get the urge. It’s mostly frustrating for my husband because he’ll eat something and say “I love that, you can cook that again” and I forgot exactly what I put in it. I’ve learned to keep a small notebook in the kitchen to write down what I’ve made just in case it turns out to be a “keeper”.
