Looking for recipes to cook a whole beef brisket?
Does anyone have any good recipes for cooking a whole beef brisket on the inside (not BBQ / grill) in the oven … something melts in your mouth tender, not stringy?
=== Tasty meat skirt 1 (5 lb) beef brisket 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 medium onion, salt and pepper to taste 1 cup water 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce in a Dutch Oven, the brown beef in oil on both sides over medium-high heat, drain. Top with onion, salt and pepper. Add water, cover and bake at 325 degrees F for 2-1/2 hours or until tender. Remove beef; refrigerator overnight. Discard the onions and cooking liquid. Cut meat 1 / 4 mm thick, place in a roasting pan. Add the barbecue sauce. Cover and bake at 325 degrees F for 30-45 minutes or until heated through. ================================= ========
