Can I cook bacon in a slow cooker?
I have a huge package of bacon and pieces (5-7 pounds) and I cook everything at once, then Package and freeze in smaller portions. Then only can throw the bacon in a pan quickly clear up. It will be a mess splattering if I try to fry everything at once, even in the oven that is going to get dirty with a lot of bacon. Is it possible to cook all the bacon in a slow cooker, and just keep drain fat?
