It was a cross or a steak?
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus died on a cross, but a big steak (no, not the food, a large piece thickness of the wood). I can not remember – does anyone know why they believe that instead of the cross? oh my God it's no wonder that did not look good! Sorry, I say "game". Phobia – is not known where he obtained his information, but believe in Jesus. And no, I think it was a tree, I used to be a witness ….. know it sounds weird that a game is just a straight piece of wood, but I assure you somehow believe that. have pictures of him with his arms over his head and his hands folded, thats where the nail went, and crossed his feet, thats where that nail went.
A game, it seems. Jehovah's Witnesses claim to have the certainty that Christ was crucified in simplex a "knot" rather than a lump immissa. Of course, the English expression "torture stake" describes well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crucifixion http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/crux_simplex # Cross_shape Ironically, the activist pro-Cross seem to ignore the fact that they actually believe that Christ was crucified in a torture stake, albeit a stake with a crossbeam ( "scaffold") attached. It also seems ironic that the Greek term "stauros" is used to refer to a plain cross or stake, and the Latin term "quid" is used to refer to a plain cross or stake, and the English word "tree of torture "may be used to refer to the involvement in either single or crossed. However, activists seem determined to Cross booing every other possibility that their loved ones, but Tradition unbearable. True Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) do not behave so closeminded, and indeed true Christians (as Jehovah's Witnesses) spend little time discussing the exact form of Christ's instrument of impalement. As true disciples of Christ, Jehovah's Witnesses distract attention from his message of good news to go denounce the idols of the Cross and others. However, the Witnesses believe the Bible clearly forbids idolatry of any kind, including the use of worship of icons such as crucifixes. This information is not used to condemn the ignorant, but to help those who demonstrate an interest in taking their lives in harmony with true Christianity. .. .. (1 John 5:21) Guard idols. .. .. (Acts 17:29) We must not think that the Divine is like gold or silver or stone, something sculpted by art and man's ingenuity The exact shape of an instrument of Christ's death is not a central doctrine of faith, but Jehovah's Witnesses happen to believe that Jesus was almost certainly crossed by a simple stake, rather than a cross intersection of two beams. Of course, the Romans had the ability to create a cross, and probably did. But ask yourself: why would have bothered when a game would have worked just as well or better? The Bible certainly offers no proof that the game was actually a crossing of two beams intersect. The actual facts of the Bible can be instructive to examine … You may be interested to see how Your Own copy of the Bible translate Acts 5:30, Galatians 3:13, Deuteronomy 21:22, 23, and Acts 10:39. King James, Revised Standard, Dyaglott, and Bible Jerusalem translate the instrument of Christ's death simply as "game" or "tree", because the original text is simply not compatible with the idea that this was More Than a piece of lumber. The English word "cross" is an imprecise translation of the Latin word "crux". Note: This image of the crucifixion out with an "overhand knot", as seems to have been used to execute Jesus: It http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Justus_Lipsius_Crux_Simplex_1629.jpg It is also open our eyes to examine how first-century Christians felt about the idols of any kind, much less one that glorifies an instrument of death.
