That Home Depot or Lowes cut the steel to a specific size for me?
I live in So Cal, and I would have a steel plate cut to the to use as a griddle on the barbecue. Unfortunately, I have a saw or something that is capable of cutting through thick metal such. I know I could rent tools to do it myself, but I'm not sure how to use safely.
Find a sheet metal workshop in the yellow pages. Most of them have and can cut / Shear size 10 (1 / 8 ") thick metal. You probably want Stainless Steel.
