Wilton Cake Pans Grease?
I have a Wilton cake pan and I live in a country where there is no shortening available. I tried greasing with butter and floured her, but the cake stuck. I do not know what to do now. Does anyone have any suggestions what is a good substitute for butter? I am thinking of using a vegetable oil and spraying liquid in spray the bread with my Pampered Chef (can not buy commercials here and I need the cake tomorrow). Has anyone tried this?
I use spray all the time just try not to get any group. If you only invest the pan and then dust in flour to help the detachment of the cake. Do you have butter? Buttermilk also works well after the dust pan with flour and butter. When I was in Cooking School we did our own detachment cake with butter and flour mixed to a paste that helps our detachment of the cake, but in essence if the butter then flour bread should function.
