Barbecue smoker?
ANY1 not know how the smoke from cooking in a barbecue smoker is a BBQ But I have no education, no place the warbler wet wood or coal directly involve you in the hole first or foilwith charcoal is too hot?
Do you have a box of separate fire to one side? If so. simply must put the chips on top of the charcoal. I have a barrel type smoker and I use nothing but walnut and keep at a low temperature ….. 180-200 degrees and cook the product sloooooooooow … Remember that if your issue is not cooking!
