Treasury Christmas
The bailout negotiations, how Bush is cutting, how to Congress?

We live in an era of zero Moral Courage. Even after America was attacked on December 7, 1941 some members of Congress voted against the war. Now nobody in Congress is saying 'No' to the rescue, absolutely no one, and although Obama gave a better answer than McCain in the debate (which provides guidelines company instead of soft topics), but Obama has said very strongly that Yes, American tax for a "ransom." I think the real negotiations are going on a piece of the pie. When the deal is done I think this could be be the first Senate of the Nation and the Congress comprising Billionairs. Think about it, 1 billion for each of 100 senators and 435 congressmen and women, millions of dollars to Bush and Treasury Secretary Paulson, 5, and still have a few billion to give to senior executives of investment bankers. Heck some of the wealth could even drop by drop, just imagine the Christmas party in AIG. What do you think? How big a bite taken these thieves?

I would not have thought that in an election year with the opposition in control of Congress, the government would be able to reach more of a great evil, deceiving, translucent, unjust and ineffective bill to place on the backs of American workers and children there. It is clear that Congress and our government will use any event to feed a spending spree. It is also clear that most Americans were against a security. The fact that we give money to the same people who lost in the first place I dislike. We are rewarding failure at the expense of everyone who works for a living. Republican, Democrat will not matter, work, pay, they take.

Time-Life Music: Treasury of Christmas – Holiday Memories

Even though it includes some of the same songs, this isn’t the Time-Life Christmas collection advertised annually on TV. It’s actually a budget version of that anthology, and not a bad deal at all. Some may argue it’s missing the two Elvis Presley tracks found on the three-CD TV version. Others will contend that any self-respecting Christmas music aficionado probably already owns (or should own) E…

Walt Disney Treasures – Mickey Mouse in Living Color, Volume Two

$32.99

By 1939, when the earliest films in this collection were made, Mickey Mouse was the most famous cartoon character in the world. The unsuccessful hunter in “The Pointer” (1939) and the irrepressible magician in “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” (1940) rank among his finest performances. In both films, he sparkles with vitality. But as Mickey grew more popular, more restrictions were placed on what he co…
