where is a good place to buy wood for smoking meat? (Southern California, Los Angeles area)?
I just inherited a smoker, and I eager to prove it. I need a place to buy flavored wood and Wood Chips in the area of Los Angeles. Apple wood, walnut, carob, peach, etc. .. thanks in advance
If you are a smoker pork, you want to get the fruit wood chips, and meat is used hickory, mesquite, etc get ours in Huntington Beach at the Palace of meat (butcher) out of Springdale and Warner. Also get chips in Anaheim and Patio Fireplace, also in Huntington Beach, Goldenwest and Warner. At times, Home Depot even carries the forest did not bear fruit.
